History Comes Alive: On the Shaker Trail
Join a guided hike to Mount Sinai, a sacred "feasting grounds." Along the trail, see remains of the Shakers' North Family dwelling site and mill (active 1821-1867). This moderate to strenuous hike (2.5 miles) is part of the 2021 Housatonic Heritage Walks organized by the Upper Housatonic Valley National Heritage Area.
Free. Admission to the Village not required to participate. Pre-registration is requested.
