NEW OFFERING: Market/Harvest Basket Workshop

TIME: 10 am to 4 pm 

REGISTRATION FEE: $60/$54 for HSV members. Includes admission to the Village.

MATERIALS FEE: $20 materials fee payable directly to the instructor on the day of the workshop. 

This basket is plenty big enough for the trip to the farmer's market or the garden. The basket measures 8”x 12”x 5 ½” deep with a sturdy oak handle. Woven in natural reed with many choices of color accents to make the basket uniquely yours. No experience needed. Suitable for ages 14 and up.

INSTRUCTOR: A basket maker since 1995, Sandy Salada weaves a variety of baskets, including patterns of her own design, patterns by other teachers, and reproductions of cultural and historical baskets. Sandy teaches in her home studio as well as at Shaker Heritage Society in Watervliet, New York, and at Hancock Shaker Village.
