Forest Bathing
This event is no longer on sale.
Breathe. Open all your senses. Walk slowly and immerse yourself in the environment. This is the healing way of Shinrin-yoku (“forest bathing”), the medicine of simply being in the forest. Join us on Sunday, August 2 at 2 pm for a two-hour forest bathing session with certified therapist Eric Krawczyk.
Participants will begin with a brief orientation, followed by a leisurely walk on the Farm & Forest Trail and conclude with a closing circle.
Studies show a wide array of health benefits of forest bathing, especially in the cardiovascular and immune systems, and for improving mood and cognition. Class size is small, with a maximum of eleven participants, who will receive hand-picked peppermint and sage from the gardens to take home.
