Ceramist Gregg Moore is making old practices new again. His ethereal bone china, renowned for its strength and super-white color, is created with the alchemy of combining farming, cooking, eating, and community. Since 2015, Moore has been collaborating with Dan Barber of the pioneering Hudson Valley farm-to-table restaurant Blue Hill at Stone Barns to create menus and tableware side by side. Over dinner, Moore will discuss his approach to ceramics and describe the process of making it.
