To extend the viability of the food we grow and gather, this workshop will focus on techniques for canning, pickling, and freezing. Shaker practices and recipes will be our inspiration. You will leave with practical tips, scientific understanding, and a few treats to enjoy at home. The workshop will include a tour of the Village vegetable and herb gardens as well as work time in the Brick Dwelling Kitchen. Suitable for ages 14 and up.
