Travel back in time through your taste buds to experience the Shakers’ cuisine.

Participants make and sample several seasonal Shaker recipes while learning about the history of the Shakers’ dietary practices and food production.

In this workshop, sample recipes that take advantage of the fall harvest, as we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving. 

The program is held in the 1830 Brick Dwelling kitchen. No cooking experience required; all ingredients provided. Participants may wish to bring an apron.

Workshop fee includes admission.
