10:30 AM  –  12:30 PM

Dorset buttons—those charming fasteners first made commercially in the seventeenth century in Dorset, England—were a thriving cottage industry for 200 years. In this workshop, held during Fiber Festival at the annual Country Fair, expert weaver Gwen Steege teaches students how to make beautiful buttons that can be used for hand-crafted wearables, pendants, bracelets, earrings, ornaments, and more. No experience necessary.

TICKETS $50/45 MEMBERS, plus a $10 cash-only materials fee payable to the instructor.
